In March 2019 I gratefully received funding from The Mayor’s Cultural Seeds fund to run a series of pop-up exhibitions and creative workshops. Hosted by Lewisham Library, The Glass Mill Leisure Centre ( Lewisham), Deptford Lounge and the Akerman Health Centre ( Camberwell) this project aims to engage community engagement through conversation and creative expression. The work created by participants was to be curated for a final exhibition at The Waldron Health Centre in New Cross. Due to the current COVID 19 pandemic this project is on hold for the time being.
UPDATE
As the first lockdown eased in September 2020, I was able to run one pop-up exhibition and workshop at Besson Street Community Garden in London SE14. Thanks to Jill Mountford. Great to be back interacting with woman, providing an opportunity to talk about menopause.
